I'll be sharing tips for setting up a successful online studio in this upcoming free virtual event presented by FAR-West and hosted by award-winning recording artist Susie Glaze. This June marks my violin-viola teaching studio's 26th year, the last 12 of which have been almost entirely online with diverse students around the world. While it seems like most music teachers have had to at least try virtual teaching in the past year due to Covid, teaching online via Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime opened the world to me. I embraced it completely and have never looked back. I look forward to sharing my experience with other teachers and music students who want to tune in, ask questions in the chat, and learn how to make the most of being able to connect with people and in ways beyond the options available in-person.
